Obituary of Jane Sachiko Kawasaki

Sachiko “Jane” Kawasaki, loving wife, mother, sister, auntie, cousin and friend was born in Sacramento, CA on January 14, 1929 and entered into rest on October 20, 2017 at her home in Gridley, CA at the age of 88 years.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Roy, loving parents Tokio and Shigeno Tateishi, brother Toshio, sisters Chizuru and Michiyo.

She is survived by her children Edward, Cynthia, Michael and Kevin, grandchildren Sean Oschowka, Roy Thompson, and Mark Thompson, brothers Tom Tateishi, Ron Tateishi, sisters, Dolly Takeuchi, Mary Ann Nakashima, sister-in-law Seiko Tateishi, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Friends and family are welcome to the funeral service to be held at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery, 2023 Hwy 99 in Gridley at the Gazebo, Monday October 30, at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers and koden, the family requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter or to the charity of your choice.
