To Dixie's family,
My sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Dixie. I'm so glad that my sister Barbara and I came up to see everyone a few years ago.
I have fond memories of visiting the Gridley farm with my father Ott Gardner and mother Gladys as a horse loving child .
I hope that all the writing and research Dixie did will be passed on.

Dixie was a wonderful aunt and I have many fond memories from my childhood that can be directly attributed to her. Memories include making homemade pasta at her house, traveling to Idaho to visit her and Uncle David, rafting down the canal and almost getting swept away by the rapids, and having a fun time at my bridal shower making a wedding dress out of toilet paper. She was one of a kind and I will always cherish the special person that she was! May you rest in peace.
