Obituary of Richard Dwain Benish
Richard “Richy” Dwain Benish, 23, of Gridley had his life taken from him on February 9, 2018.
Richard was born February 9, 1995 to his parents Charles (Bub) Benish, and Misty Richardson-Beasley. He worked as a welder, but as everyone knows, his passion was in the outdoors hunting or fishing.
He is preceded in death by grandparents: Charles and Shirley Benish, Alan Richardson, and great-grandmother Madlyn Grayham.
He is survived by his mother and father; two brothers: Anthony Beasley and Charles Benish; two sisters: Desiree Benish-Wilcott and Tanya Becci; maternal grandmother, Darlene and husband, Rojalio Salguero; six nieces, one nephew, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
We will be having a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, February 23, at 4 p.m. at the Biggs Community Hall, 280 B Street, officiated by pastor Abe Huerta. Dinner will be provided afterwards. Guests are encouraged to wear “camo or cut off’s” to celebrate the redneck life Richie loved. Bring stories to share, and together let’s remember the stand-up man he so naturally was. The family welcomes all those who knew Richy to join us!
