To our dear friends, the Souza Family: You have known for many years how very important Awareness and Assistance for the mentally ill has been to our family. It is especially urgent in the times we are living that people become aware of just how many families have been touched by mental health issues. A foundation such as this will go a long way toward removing the stigma that unfortunately is associated with mental illness. I feel that this Foundation will help many people who suffer in silence as so many of us have been forced to do. Christian's Foundation will shed some much-needed light on these issues. Thank you for bringing it to the forefront before further tragedies occur. I know that Christian would have liked his name associated with this very important health issue we are facing today..

Dear Souza Family,
We are deeply sorrowed to hear this news.
Our Family sends condolences, in this difficult time and you are in our prayers.
Christian was one of my good friends in High School and was beyond his years, with many talents. My memories of him in sports, writing film, acting and creating Noel's band, will be with me forever....
My plans are to attend the service Friday.

Being a very loved only child, Jeff, Christian and Aaron were, and are, like dear brothers to me. Christian has held a piece of my heart for as long as I can remember, along with his brothers. My admiration for his talent knew no bounds and my love and concern for him has never diminished. I pray that he is surrounded by peace and love and that he knows and feels the love of his family and friends. He will never be forgotten. Godspeed Christian.

Mr and Mrs Souza and Family, I just wanted to say that it saddens me greatly to hear this news about Christian. Christian is one of my oldest memories as he was in my class in kindergarten. I have always held him in high regard and have thought about him frequently throughout the years. I admired his brilliance and his kind heart. I have to share this story as it makes me smile every time I think about it. Christian and I had Mrs Brink as our kindergarten teacher. We had an art project of using tissue paper and spelling our names on black construction paper to make a stained glass art piece. Christian was amazing. From that day forward throughout our school years I was envious of his creativity. These fond memories of Christian always warm my heart. I know it is very difficult to loose a child as I watched my parents suffer tremendously when my brother passed. I'm truly sorry for your loss and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
