Obituary of Robert Eugene Parsons

His Legacy:

Robert Eugene Parsons was born on July 24, 1936 in Logan, West Virginia to Freeland and Myrtle May (Pancake) Parsons. Bob passed away on August 22, 2024 in Palermo, Ca. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, and Grandfather. He was a member of the Free Trinity Church and retired from Oroville Solid Waste.

His Family:

Bob is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lawanda (McElhaney) Parsons, his children; Wanda Jean (Gary) Womack, Sharon (Dave) Murphy, and David Parsons, six grandchildren; Christina, Danny, Chris, Dustin, Michael, and Brittney, 11 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Jerry Hester, and his two sisters, Caroline Ryan and Geraldine Long.

His Farewell Services:

There will be a visitation on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street, Oroville, CA 95965 from 4:00 pm- 6:00 pm. His graveside service will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5645 Lincoln Blvd, Oroville, CA.
