Obituary of Tony Frank Abrao

Tony Frank Abrao, 91 years, of Oroville, passed away on Sunday March 17, 2024 
He was born on Wednesday November 16, 1932 in Richmond, California , the son of the late Joseph and the late Ellen (née Valencia) Abrao. After graduating from Richmond High, he married Effie (Mayhew) in Reno, Nevada on August 13th, in 1955.  They had 69 years together, and their family grew over the years.  He worked for over 38 at years and Sunsetview Cemetery in El Cerrito, California. Tony loved being outdoors, especially with his family, he loved camping, fishing, and long car rides.

Tony is survived by his beloved wife Effie, his children Tony Jr (Marla) and Pamela (Albert). His grandchildren; Angela, Antonia, Antoya, Andria, Antoinette, and Justin as well as 16 great grandchildren and his brothers, Alfred and Eddie.

He is predeceased by his daughters Bonnie and Debbie. His parents, Joseph and Ellen, and his siblings, Frank, Albert, Ima, Joe, Ellen and Billy.

He was a much loved man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, and will be deeply missed.



Tony Abrao's Service will be held on Friday, April 12th, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home. Located at1175 Robinson St. in Oroville, California.
