Obituary of Stephen Phillip Blumenfeld

Steven Phillip Blumenfeld, 73 years, of Oroville, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023

He was born on Sunday April 24, 1949 in the Bay Area, son of the late Samuel and the late Larene (née Carey) Blumenfeld.
 

Steven went to Skyline High School in Oakland, Ca, in the mid-1960s with his two brothers, he was the middle son, sandwiched between David, the elder, and Mike the younger. They were called "The Blumenfeld Brothers" and they were well known in the school and the community for their large sizes!

Steve went on to own a tire shop in South Lake Tahoe, and in 89-90 married his late wife Roxanne in Oakland, CA. Later in life, Steven became a Trucker, driving big rigs to deliver goods, as well as buying up old storage lockers and selling the memorabilia within. Steven eventually ended up in Oroville, CA, and spent the last decade or so catching up on all the TV he'd missed.

He is survived by Mark, Justin, Alan and Roberta Blumenfeld, as well as his good friend Scott.

He is predeceased by his wife Roxanne, his parents, Samuel and Larene, his brothers David and Mike, and his niece Adena.

His family is celebrating his life privately.
