Obituary of Sergey Alekseyevich Korniyenko

Sergey Alekesyevich Korniyenko, 65 years, of Palermo, passed away on Friday January 6, 2023.

He was born on Sunday March 10, 1957 in Syrdarya, Uzbekistan, the son of the late Alexey and the late Yekakeya (née Melnik) Korniyenko.

He married Valentina Korniyenko née Korneva and together they had 5 children.

In September of 1974, Sergey recieved his certificate and operating license to operate heavy equipment. He specialized in wheeled and tracked tractor combines, as well as transporting tractors.

Later, in 1996, Sergey completed his training to be a commercial truck driver and obtained his commercial drivers license to operate a semi-truck and trailer.

Sergey is survived by his wife Valentina, his children Yelena Rashko, Eugene Korniyenko, Slava Korniyenko, Rodion Korniyenko, and Yana Hunter. As well as his grandchildren, Anthony, Kristina, Mark, Vika, Vlad, Vera, Alex, Daria, Elizabeth, Leo, Valentina and Lilyan.

Sergey's family will be conducting a private service at their church and he will be interred at Memorial Park Cemetery.
