Jeanette was called home to her Lord and Savior on September 19 after a very brief battle with cancer.  Raised on a farm in southern Minnesota, Jeanette trained as a secretary and worked for General Mills in Minneapolis, where she met and married Peter Noeth in 1954.  They had three children together before Pete's job transferred them in 1969 to Silicon Valley in California.  Jeanette was a homemaker until returning to secretarial work in 1974.

     On a 1970's camping trip to Lake Oroville with friends, both families decided to purchase lakeview properties there to eventually build homes for their retirement, which they did in 1994.  Peter died unexpectedly in 2003, and Jeanette became a world traveler, visiting Germany, Paris, England, Ireland, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Italy, among other destinations.  She lived a very long and full life.

     Jeanette enjoyed bowling, vegetable gardening, sewing, camping, baking, long walks on a sandy beach, visiting with friends and relatives, playing games and Christian fellowship.  She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother and a daughter-in-law.  She is survived by her three children and a son-in-law. Per her wishes, there will be no public memorial service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
