Jeffery Eugene Brown 

03/24/1958-05/14/2026

Today we gather to remember our dad Jeffery Eugene Brown, a man who meant so much to so many people. To our family, he was more than just a father. He was someone we looked up to, someone who protected and cared for our family, and someone whose love was always there even in the quiet moments.

Our dad taught us important lessons through the way he lived his life. He showed us the value of hard work, loyalty, kindness, and staying strong through difficult times. He always tried to help others when he could,  he always said that “if I had my last dollar in my pocket I would help someone who needed it more then I did”. He cared deeply about the people he loved, and always wanted to put a smile on your face and just to hear you laugh. 

He leaves behind his surviving children: his son, Jeffery Brown Jr., and his daughters, Chuvonne and Katrina, and loving grand children Justin, Colin, Jacob, Mathew, Will, Lexi, Maddy, and great grandchildren Imani and Marquese. He is survived by his two brothers John Brown and Vince Brown. We all will continue to carry his memory, love, and lessons with us every day.

Some of our favorite memories are the simple moments we shared together, coaching his sons baseball team,  fishing which he enjoyed so much and taught all of his kids how to fish and where all his secrets spots were. Growing up we would go camping, enjoying the delta waters on the boat knee boarding, he raced RC boats with his wife Christine,  and he loved watching football and nascar on tv. He would always have a tv on in every room so you could hear the football game or the races echoing off of each other. He had a love wrenching on projects and helped his daughter katrina refurbish her 1967 mustang and he just finished doing a total overhaul on a 1965 mustang. 

Those are the moments we will carry with us forever.

Even though losing him leaves a huge hole in our hearts, I know his love and the lessons he gave will never leave us. Part of him will continue to live on through his family, through the memories we share, and through the lives he touched.

Dad, thank you for everything you gave us. Thank you for your love, your strength, and your guidance. We will miss you more than words can explain, but we will never forget you.
