Effie May Abrao, 88, of Oroville, CA passed away Saturday, April 25, 2026.

She was born June 4, 1937 in Laharp, Kansa,s to Earl and Catherin Mayhew. She married Tony Abrao in Reno, Nevada on August 13th, in 1955.  They were married 69 years, were partners in crime for 73 years, and their family grew over the years.  

Effie is survived by her children; Tony Jr and Pamela. Her grandchildren; Angela Abrao, Antonia Lee, Antoya Lee, Andria Mendoza, Antoinette Lee, and Justin Steele, as well as 16 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Tony Abrao Sr, her daughters, Bonnie and Debbie, and her parents, Earl and Catherin. 

She was a much loved woman, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be deeply missed.
