Gregory Allen Osborn

April 17, 1957 – April 21, 2026

John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Gregory Allen Osborn, 69, of Oroville, California, passed away on April 21, 2026, just days after celebrating his 69th birthday.

Greg was a hardworking and adventurous man with a deep love for the outdoors and a life rooted in strength, resilience, and dedication. A third-generation logger, he spent many years working with J&O Logging, carrying on a proud family tradition. He later retired from Mooretown Forestry, where he was respected as a leader and manager. He also served in Tribal Enforcement, helping to protect Mooretown Rancheria. With a proud Concow Maidu heritage, Greg served his community as both a tribal member and council member, honoring his roots with commitment.

Greg found joy in the simple, meaningful moments of life. He loved traveling with his family and exploring all the world had to offer. He was an avid fisherman—whether on the ocean, lakes, or rivers, he was always casting a line. He had a deep love for trips to Fort Bragg, diving for abalone whenever he could. From gold mining to hunting, from hiking to cutting firewood with his boys, he stayed active and worked hard his entire life.

Above all, Greg was a devoted and loving father with a generous heart. He cared deeply not only for his own children, but for many others, always offering guidance, support, and strength. He was known as the rock of the family—someone steady, dependable, and always there when he was needed most.

Greg is survived by his sister, Kim; his sons, Trevor, Troy, and Phillip; and his beloved grandchildren, Myla, Chad, Chase, Scarlett, and Jett. He was preceded in death by his Father Cecil, his Mother Carol, his Brother Rick, and his Sister Sally.

He will be remembered for his strength, his kindness, his adventurous spirit, and the deep, lasting impact he made on everyone who knew and loved him.
