Roberta Lynn Marin, of Oroville, California, passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 63.

Roberta was born on September 16, 1962, in Ohio to Emanuel Ruark and Margaret Jean Elizabeth Ruark (Courtot). She later made her home in Oroville, California, and previously lived in Dobbins, California.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Cody Hill and Brittney Hill. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, including Kenneth Hill, Cody Hill Jr., Caleb Hoxworth, Curtis Hoxworth and Raelynn Hoxwoth, along with extended family members including nieces and nephews who meant a great deal to her.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Emanuel Ruark and Margaret Ruar, as well as her siblings, including her sisters Gloria Coots and Carol Ofill and brother Herbert Ruark.

Roberta attended W.T. Ellis High School in Marysville, California. Throughout her life, she worked as an emergency dispatcher, florist, and dedicated homemaker. She was known for her creativity and gentle spirit.

In her free time, Roberta enjoyed astrology, arts and crafts, and poetry. She found joy in creative expression and the simple pleasures of life.

Roberta will be remembered for her warmth, resilience, and the love she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
