Carter James Lyles was a beautiful soul who brought light, laughter, and joy to everyone who knew him. Born to his loving mother, Brianna Edwards, and father, Michael Lyles, Carter was a cherished son, brother, friend, nephew, cousin, and teammate.
Carter was a proud brother to Kayden Lyles and Bently Lyles, who cherished him deeply. The bond they shared was full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will forever live on.
Raised in Oroville, California, Carter had a heart that matched his bright smile. He absolutely loved football. It was his passion and his joy. Whether he was watching, playing, or talking about it, football made his eyes light up. Carter was also a hard-working and driven student who achieved a 4.0 GPA, a reflection of his determination and commitment to doing his best. Carter was truly the life of the party, always dancing, laughing, and filling every room with his energy and happiness. His smile was contagious, and his presence was unforgettable.
Carter loved life more than life itself. He lived loudly, freely, and with a joy that touched everyone around him. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will last forever.
Carter will be deeply missed and eternally loved. His spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, especially his family, who will carry him with them always.
“Nothing can separate us from love.”
Romans 8:38–39
