Rest well, my brother. As a Mason and a lodge brother, Leo's presence is missed. I was always glad to have him join us for coffee, when in town, and he always had a lively and friendly greeting. I will remember the sincerity and warmth in his eyes for many years to come. Much love to the family. Dean & Monique Gurr

Dear Carol and Family: I remember my father Uncle Glen, being very fond of Little Leo, he seemed to have non stop energy , with a very friendly and had a sweet disposition. We were lucky to spend a wonderful 80th Birthday celebration with Cousin Leo. He will be missed. Love Tom and Emily Linares Koerner.

What a pleasure it has been to live next door to Leo and Carole. Before we purchased our house, Ashley Morgan wanted to make sure we looked after the Cervantes' before she sold the home to us. We just knew we were going to be living next to some special people. Leo always went out of his way for us. Any contractor that worked on our house will remember Leo watching them to make sure they were doing the job right. Every time he saw our niece and nephew he ran inside to make them some popcorn with his very own vintage movie theater popcorn machine. Whenever he saw us working in the yard, he would go out to his shop to see if he had any tools that could help us. We'll miss Leo popping his head over the fence to talk to us. We are so grateful to have had Leo in our lives. He treated us like family and we will always love him.

Leo was a very sweet man who always had a smile on his face. I feel so blessed to have known him. He had a very infectious laugh and I always enjoyed my time as a child playing at the Cervantes house. He made you feel welcome from the moment you met him.

My husband and I are beyond thankful for our time spent being Leo and Carole’s neighbor. Our relationship continued past us moving and we cherish all of our memories with them. Leo always had a way of putting a smile on your face and a good laugh. He loved both of my boys and I am so thankful for that. Our deepest condolences to all of the family.

We have so many memories of our cousin Leo....when they have visited us in Maui; celebrating his 80th at our Lake Tahoe timeshare; motor home get togethers thru the years; backyard get-togethers at their home; Oceanside train ride. What I will miss about Leo is his teasing me and me coming back at him. We have many fond memories of past times! RIP Leo!
