The family of Chansamay Xamounty of Oroville, CA is saddened to announce his passing on October 7, 2025 at the age of 24.

Chansamay was born on March 3, 2001 in Vientiane, Laos. He was the youngest of two. He came to the US in 2022 where he attended Oroville Adult School for the past two years.

Chansamay will be missed by his mother, Nanh Xamounty, father, Kongkeo Phetsoulin, brother, Chansamone Xamounty, and many other family members and friends.

His departure comes as a great shock and deep wound, gravely felt by his entire family and countless others who loved him deeply. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family.
