September 16, 1950 – July 11, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Paul Douglas Payne on July 11, 2025, at the age of 74. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Paul lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Paul was happiest when surrounded by family, sharing stories, and creating memories. He cherished fishing trips with his friend, Rick, and took great joy in traveling with his beloved wife, Linda Sue, especially their frequent RV adventures to Oregon — a place they both held dear.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Sue; his daughter, Lisa; and his grandson, James, who brought immense pride and joy to his life. He also leaves behind his sister, Janice (Terry), and brother, Mike (Claudette), along with a circle of friends and extended family who will miss him dearly.

Paul had a gift for turning everyday moments into lasting memories, often through his unforgettable "Papa Paulisms" — sayings and expressions that captured his wit, wisdom, and one-of-a-kind sense of humor. These cherished quips will echo in the hearts of those who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of the love and warmth he shared so freely.

We were truly fortunate to have had Paul in our lives, and we will carry his spirit with us always. He will be deeply missed.
