In Loving Memory of Constance “Connie” Mary Birmingham

August 8, 1951 – June 17, 2025

Constance “Connie” Mary Birmingham (née Laun) passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on August 8, 1951, in Syracuse, New York, Connie grew up in both New York and Oceanside, California, before spending her adult years in Oroville, California.

Connie worked as a substitute teacher for many years and later spent a decade at Feather Falls Casino before retiring. A talented singer and guitarist, she found joy in music throughout her life, from performing in her younger years to singing karaoke at the local VFW. She also loved exploring the outdoors in search of antique bottles, always drawn to a sense of curiosity and adventure.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her vibrant and adventurous spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. Connie had a remarkable ability to light up a room and make people feel seen and loved.

Connie is survived by her daughter Amy, son Tobin, granddaughters Alexis and Mercedes, grandson Rhiett, great-granddaughters Oakley, Shylee, and Willow, great-grandson Cedar and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Jim Laun, sister Sharon Bender, and her parents Marion G. Cottrell and Paul W. Laun.

Connie will be laid to rest in Scotts Cemetery in Scott, New York, alongside her family.

Her spirit lives on in every song, smile, and story she left behind.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Orroville Funeral Home 530-533-0323
