With hearts broken beyond repair, we announce the passing of our beloved son Michael Davis Mallinson, who was called home to be with the Lord at just 17 years old. Though his time on Earth was too brief, his impact was immeasurable. 

Michael, aka "Bubs" was a cherished son, a devoted brother, a loving cousin, a treasured nephew and the very best of friends one could ever have. 

His presence brought a sense of calmness, peace and warmth. His laughter and smile brought joy and his kindness left a mark on every soul he touched. 

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our church, family, friends, and the entire community for the outpouring of love prayers and support during this unimaginable time. Your kindness has been a light in our darkest hours and we are forever thankful for your compassion and care.

Heaven has gained a radiant angel. Though we grieve deeply, we take comfort in knowing that this is not goodbye, but a temporary parting. One day, we will be reunited in the presence of our Lord, where love never ends and tears are no more.

Hearts are shattered, our world forever changed. Yet, even in the depths of sorrow, we cling to the promise that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust that Michael now rests in the arms of our Heavenly Father, where there is no pain, only peace.

Michael had an incredible spirt and heart full of life, He loved good food, his daily Starbucks and Raising Canes would be on the top of the list. No surprise he wanted to be a barber, he had a passion for fresh haircuts, always stepping out with confidence and style in one of his many pairs of Jordans! He was a fighter and loved watching UFC and MMA, shadow boxing his mom and sister never got old. Every person sitting her today knows that boy was a mama’s boy through and through.

In Michael’s memory, may be all be inspired to love more deeply, to cherish every moment and to never take a single day for granted.  His life, though far too short was a shining example of how to live with heart, humor, boldness, and courage to embrace your true self.  Let us honor him by embracing the people we love, laughing a little louder, and living a little further.

Long live Michael – our sweet Bubba Boy,  in our hearts, in our memories, and in the way we choose to live each day with purpose, passion and love.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Father's House Acres, 3556 Oro Bangor Hwy, Oroville, California.
