It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of JoAnn Petra Lokollo—a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend—who left us on May 22, 2025, at the age of 61.

     Born on December 4, 1963, in San Jose, California, Jo Ann was a beautiful soul whose laughter, stories, and presence could light up any room. She had a genuine heart, a sharp wit, and was never afraid to speak her mind. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and loved ones.

    Jo Ann is survived by her loving partner Ronnie Sandoval and their dear fur babies, Peanut Butter and Dolly, her beloved children, Amber Lokollo and Chaz Lokollo; her eight cherished grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Britney Lokollo, and her mother, Mathilda Carroll.

     A celebration of Jo Ann’s life will be held at a later date. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
