Obituary of Myrna Peterson Henry

   Myrna Peterson Henry was born to Philip and Leone Peterson on September 13, 1945 in Gridley. She grew up, spent most of her life and raised her family in Gridley, CA. She graduated from Gridley High School. She then went to LDS Business College for a certificate in transcription.

  Myrna married Jerry Henry on September 3, 1965 until his death in 2016. Myrna was a faithful follower of Christ; a dedicated, loving wife, mother and a caregiver to anyone who needed it. Myrna spent over 20 years working at Feather River Indian Health and developed many cherished relationships there. However, Myrna really thrived when she was caring for others at home. She spent years caring for her mother, mother in law and then husband as they lived out their later years. She comforted with a strength and kindness that lifted everyone's burdensMyrna was proceeded in death by her daughter Andrea; husband Jerry; mother Leone; and Father Phil. 

 Myrna is survived by her children: Brian (Erin) of Yuba City, CA, Drew (Sarah) of Oroville, CA, Kim (Brandon) of Yuba City, CA and Angela (Jed) Taylorsville (UT) as well as 17 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her brother Ken
(Alice) and sister Francie (Mike).

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 at 1pm at the LDS Stake Center on Spruce St in Gridley. Funeral services will be under the direction of Gridley Block Funeral Home. There will be a viewing shortly before the services at 12pm.
