Ricky Allen Rose, Sr., 71, passed away on April 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on April 26, 1953, Ricky lived his life boldly, on his own terms, with a heart full of laughter and a soul that craved freedom above all else.

He is survived by his beloved children, April Rose and Ricky Rose, Jr.; his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever remember their grandpa’s wild spirit and big-hearted nature.

Ricky was a true original—a wild man with a deep love for the outdoors, good BBQ, great music, and the kind of joy that can’t be bought or sold. He wasn’t interested in climbing the corporate ladder or being boxed in by “The Man.” Instead, he chose to embrace the simple pleasures of life: cold drinks on hot days, laughter around a fire pit, and the freedom to be exactly who he was.

Loud, proud, and full of jokes, Ricky had an uncanny way of lighting up a room and lifting spirits wherever he went. He was always ready to lend a hand to a friend in need and believed in living generously and authentically.
