Obituary of Kathleen Ann Mendenhall
On April 4, 2025, Kathy was called home to join her mother, Margaret Evans, Father, Robert Evens Sr., Brother Robert Evans Jr, and daughter, Patty Mendenhall.
She is survived by her Husband of 34 perfect years, Michael Mendenhall Sr., her children, Christopher Hawkins (Tiffany), Daniel Hawkins (Savannah Souza), step-children, Michael Mendenhall Jr and William Mendenhall, two grandchildren, Brayden Hawkins and Kyra Hawkins, nephew, Steven Evans (April), Niece, Amy Hill (James), great niece Emma Hill, Sister-in-law, Terry Mendenhall, and numerous family and friends.
Kathy was born on October 26, 1958 to Robert “Bob” and Margaret “Marge” Evans in Oroville, CA. She lived in Butte County most of her life and spent that life creating roots for her family and beautiful lifelong friendships.
She was an avid collector of many things, especially vintage anything and collectable dolls. Being in her home is like walking through time and you find something new to look at each time. She and Mike created a beautiful life together with many adventures. Bucks Lake holds a very special place in their hearts. She loved camping, going to vintage car and trailer rallies which led them to the Oro Dam Cruisers.
Kathy was many things: beautiful, smart, funny, stubborn, adventurous, kind, forgiving, and most of all she was our home; always waiting with a warm hug and a smile. She leaves an ache in our hearts that we will feel forever and will be so deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held on April 15, 2025 at 10:30am at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St, Oroville, CA 95965.
