Obituary of Tommy Lee Paul
Tommy Lee Paul was born in Martinez, CA, on February 2, 1994. At the young age of 31, the Lord called him home to heaven on February 28, 2025.
Those who knew Tommy knew he was a true Mama’s boy. The bond between a mother and son is extraordinary, and the love and support of his mother knew no bounds. Tommy was blessed to experience that love every single day.
Tommy had a beautiful family. He was fortunate to gain an incredible, supportive, loving, and forgiving mother-in-law, Tammy Jones. He was deeply loved by his fiancée and the love of his life, Ashton Jones, who blessed him with three beautiful boys: Noah (8), Stirling (2), and Dreggyn (22 days old). Tommy was also previously blessed with a son, Tommy Paul Jr. (9), and three daughters, Vanessa (13), Ann (8), and Amelia, who tragically passed away at the age of 3 months. Now, father and daughter are reunited—something Tommy longed for since November 2013. His heart was never the same without her, a loss no parent should ever have to bear.
Tommy was also surrounded by an abundance of amazing siblings, whose deep bond held the family together throughout the years. Though life sometimes placed miles between them, distance never diminished their love. He is survived by his brothers, Shane Bowen and James McCullar, and his sisters, Gabrielle Paul, Emily Paul, and Nichole Steelman.
Tommy’s soul was radiant—he was a beacon of light to everyone around him. He carried a heart of gold, an unmatched personality, and a laugh that could fill a room. Quick-witted and full of comebacks, he was larger than life, his presence always felt. The most outgoing and funniest in the family, he had a rare gift—he could always bring a smile to those around him. His loss is deeply felt by all who knew him, but to know Tommy was to never forget him. He was loved, he is loved, and he always will be. His spirit lives on in our hearts, in our minds, and in the souls of all who carry his memory.
His Celebration of Life will be held on March 23, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Kings Hall Church, 1740 Feather River Blvd, Oroville, California.
