With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kathy Darlene Johnson (Vandiver), who left this world on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the age of 75 in Oroville, CA. Kathy was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many.

Born on June 15, 1949, Kathy grew up in Southern California, raised by her loving parents, Viola and Howard Warner, alongside her six siblings. She carried with her a deep sense of resilience, love, and generosity that shaped the lives of those around her.

Kathy is survived by her devoted daughter, four wonderful grandchildren, and an ever-growing legacy of 13 cherished great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a brother, two sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who were blessed to know her.

Kathy was a hardworking and strong-willed woman, embracing life with courage and an adventurous spirit. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—taking scenic back roads on road trips, casting a fishing line into a quiet lake, camping under the stars, and most of all, being surrounded by family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Kathy’s presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives she touched.
