Obituary of George Wilson Jackson

George Wilson Jackson was born on August 2, 1939 in Oklahoma to Lum Wilson Jackson and Mary Stinnett Jackson. George and his family traveled yearly to California to do migrant work. They finally settled in Alameda, California where he graduated from Alameda High. He married Evelyn Espinoza and had two children. He worked in the automotive industries until retirement. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Gussie Jackson, daughter Kimberly, sisters Bennie Lewis and Charlene Jackson. He is survived by his wife Marian, son Kevin Jackson and wife Dawna, sister Ruby Jo Ferguson and husband Johnny, his nephew Aaron Carboni and wife Becky, and six grandchildren. He will be missed by friends and many that knew as Uncle Sonny. George passed away on January 11, 2016 in Oroville, California. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Dunstone Memorial Hall, 4790 Foothill Blvd., Oroville, California 95966.
