Obituary of Maxine Helen Gramps

Her Legacy…Maxine, a longtime resident of the Oroville area passed away on November 10, 2015 in Oroville, California. She was 93 years old. Maxine was born on July 9, 1922 in Yankee Hill, California to Tom Blair and Vera Clark. She was a very loving and much respected woman who enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors. She loved gardening, plants, flowers, animals and watching her many grandchildren’s sporting events. She also liked listening to music, especially Elvis, and most of all loved spending time with her family. She will be remembered by family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Her Family…She is survived by her son Harvey Gramps Jr. and wife Linda, her son Bo Gramps and his wife Carol, her daughter Zena Stegall, her grandchildren Chris Stegall, James Stegall (Zena), Harvey Gramps III and Walter Gramps all of Oroville, CA, LaDonna Hall (Harvey) of Las Vegas, NV, Donald Gramps of Chico, CA and Deanna Sousa of Gridley, CA (Bo) along with numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in passing by her husband Harvey Gramps Sr. and son Walton Williford. Her Farewell…Service will be held on Sat., Nov. 21, 2015 at 11:00 am at Clark Cemetery on Yankee Hill Rd. in Yankee Hill, CA. Food & refreshments will be served following the service at 1pm at Thermalito Grange.
