Obituary of Larry H Belser

His Legacy… Larry was born on June 11, 1948 in Oroville California to Eunice and Angus Belser. For almost 40 years, Larry was married to the love of his life Debra Belser. Larry is a Veteran of the Vietnam War, where he served his country honorably from April 1968 to Nov. 1969. Very passionate about baseball, he coached Themalito Little League for 20 years. He was a huge San Francisco Giants and 49ers fan, and never missed a televised game. He was happiest spending time with his family and friends, fishing on Lake Oroville, bowling every Monday and Wednesday night at Central Lanes, and golfing at Table Mountain Golf Course, where he served as Director from 1989 – 1997. Larry will be remembered for his contagious laugh, and for the smile he always had on his face. Larry died on October 31, 2017 in Oroville California. His Family… Larry is survived by his wife Debra Belser, of Oroville; his son Brian and daughter-in-law, Kristine Belser, of South Lake Tahoe; his four grandchildren Kareena Belser, Ricky Belser II, Jestin Belser, and Braidan Belser. He is preceded in death by his son Rick Belser of Salem Oregon. His Farewell Service… A celebration of Larry's life will be held Friday, November 10, 2017, 10:30 am at Ramsey Funeral Home. 1175 Robinson St. Oroville California. Larry will be laid to rest during a private burial at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon California. In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully requests donation to Oroville Funeral Home in honor of Larry, where arrangements are entrusted, 530 533-0323.
