Obituary of Dona Kay Bergman

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, 2:00 pm at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery for Dona Kay Bergman, 78 of Biggs CA. She passed away at her residence on Friday, September 25, 2015 of natural causes. She was born December 28, 1936 in Galena MO to Carl and Ina Justus. Dona was a long time resident of Biggs, having worked over 40 years at the Libby’s cannery in Gridley. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, macramé and small arts and crafts. She was a member of the Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Oroville and the Gleaners Food Center in Gridley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Bergman, one brother Jerry Justus and one sister-in-law Rita Luthy. She is survived by one son, Brian Bergman of Hanover Township, PA, one sister, Shirley Moore of Eureka CA, three brother-in-laws, Russell and Lyn Bergman of Oroville CA, Roger and Nedra Bergman of Gridley, David Luthy also of Oroville. Pastor Fred McCarn of the Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Oroville will officiate the service. Family suggest contributions be made to the Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
