Obituary of Kymberly Dawn Jones

Her Legacy Kymberly Dawn Jones was born on September 16, 1959, on the Camp Pendleton Marine Base, Oceanside CA. She passed away May 20, 2016, age 56, in Oroville, CA. Through the years, her faith and belief in Jesus Christ, was a constant source of comfort and strength during difficult times of illness. Kym had a big heart and was always trying to help others. Kym grew up and went through school in San Jose, CA. She worked at various jobs, including Intel Corp., and later worked for the state IHSS to care for disabled patients. Kym was married for 31 years to Jeffrey Lee Jones and to this union, one son, Cyrus Joshua Jones was born. She loved animals, camping, knitting, cooking, and being with her family and friends, .but most of all, being a mother. Her son was a great. blessing to her and the joy of her life. Her Family Kym is survived by husband Ronald Peterson, and son Cyrus Jones of Oroville, CA; her parents, Richard and Ramah Dias of Hollister, CA., her brother Christopher P Dias and fiancé Ronie Richie/Kym’s best friend, of Oroville, CA., her sister Terry Jackson of Santa Cruz, CA, her sister Rochelle Mort and husband Gary of Carmel, CA. Her niece Ramah and husband Tobin Smithson of Bakersfield, CA., Nephew Aaron Mort and wife Sami of Los Angeles, CA., her niece Courtney Mort and husband Caleb of Aptos, CA. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles. and previous husband , Jeffrey Jones of Gridley, CA. Kym was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed but never forgotten. She will always be in our hearts and minds. Her Farewell Service…..Her Memorial Service will be held at Oroville Manor recreation room, 2750 Lincoln St, Oroville, CA, on Wednesday, May 25 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements are entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Ramsey Funeral Home to help family with cost of Funeral Arrangements.
