Obituary of Robert Kay Taylor

Robert Kay Taylor was born on December 17, 1938 to Hilda and Currie Taylor. He grew up in Riverside, California one of five siblings. As a child, he learned to be a carpenter from his father and later became a US Navy Seabee. He was a retired US Navy Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. His success can be directly attributed to his work ethic and his natural respect for others was legendary. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the U.S. Navy never left him, as his friends and family can attest. Robert is survived by his loving wife Eugenia, his three children and daughter in law, Debra Anderson, Roberta Mohan and Jody Butler and Robert and Kimberly Taylor. He also leaves behind six grandchildren who meant the world to him, Brittani and Jeffery Anderson, Kaila and Hillari Mohan and Jordan and Megan Taylor and his sister Billie Dunn. A Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Ramsey Funeral Home 1175 Robinson Street, Oroville, California. His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Bangor Community Church 7419 Oroville Bangor Highway Bangor, California with Burial to follow at Bangor Cemetery 8928 La Porte Road Bangor, CA. Arrangements entrusted to Ramsey Funeral Home 530-534-3877.
