Glenn McFadden, 95, died April 6, 2018, in Chico, CA of congestive heart failure. He was born April 23, 1922, in Dewey, OK, the fourth of six children born to Stella (Blankenship) McFadden and Wade Hampton McFadden. He is pre-deceased by his parents and five siblings: Alton Blaine McFadden, Wade Hampton McFadden, Jr., Natalie Naomi Tonn, Betty Lois Brasher and Roger Wayne McFadden; he's also predeceased by his eldest son, Edward Willis McFadden.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942 with his best friend, Arnold Smith. Stationed at Fallon Naval Air Station in NV for a time, he served mainly in the Pacific. He gained skill as a mechanic working on planes. A great storyteller, he enjoyed sharing his experiences in the Navy. He worked as a log truck driver, retiring at age 80. He married Carrie Born in 1942, with whom he had a son, Edward Willis McFadden. They divorced, but Eddie contacted Glenn later in life. Glenn later married Geneva Pearl Cleveland in 1948, with whom he had three children; they divorced in 1964. She died on April 7, 2015. He adored his seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. We will all miss his laugh, his smile and his sense of humor. He was known for his integrity, his concern for others and his steadfast support of his family.

Glenn is survived by his daughter, Linda (Kirk) Draper (Oroville, CA), and their five children: Aaron Draper (Chico, CA), Anna (Ren) Fairbanks (Chico, CA), Mia Draper (Rockwall, TX), Sara Segle (Fairfield, CA) and Benjamin (Rachael) Draper (Oroville, CA).
