Obituary of Patricia N Faight
Her Legacy… Patricia Naoma Alt Faight passed away on January 24, 2018 at the age of 91. Patti was born September 14, 1926 to Louie Fred and Lela Leona Higgins Alt in Monterey, California. The family moved to Oroville, CA in 1927. Patti was the next to the oldest of four children. He Mother, Lela died in 1930. Patti and her three siblings were raised by their maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Myrl Higgins. They moved to Clipper Mills and later to Dobbins, CA where all four children graduated from a one room school in Indiana Ranch. Patti rode the school bus from Dobbins to Marysville High School until she graduated in 1945. In 1959 she moved from Klamath Falls, OR to Oroville, CA to be closer to her brother and family. She worked for Dr. Williams DDS, Dr. Gilbert DDS and retired from Dr. Olson MD. She was a retired member of the Table Mtn Golf Club and Ladies Club. She loved golfing and her golfing friends. She loved gardening and spending time with family especially going to Dobbins for family picnics every year when she visited Keystone Cemetery where she honored her family.
Her Family… Patti is survived by her three children, Charles (Wanda) Biggs of Stockton, CA; David Boleyn of Redmond, OR; and Mary (Jerry) Stark of Oroville, CA; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several nephews, nieces and cousins. Patti was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, John Faight, her brothers Jack Alt, Richard Alt, and sister Zola Thompson.
Her Farewell Service… Patti will be interned at the Keystone Cemetery, Indiana Ranch, Dobbins, CA at a later date.
